Merle Eugene Henderson

Merle Eugene Henderson, age 83 years of Logan Township, IN passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 in Lawrenceburg, IN. Born January 14, 1924 in Bright, IN he was the son of the late Ernest & Mary (Siefferman) Henderson. He worked for Cincinnati Inc. in maintenance & was also a farmer. He married Evelyn Taylor on June 19, 1943 in Bright. Mr. Henderson was a member of the Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church in Bright, IN; member of IOOF, Bright Lions Club & Harrison Senior Chorus. Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife Evelyn Henderson, children Gayle (Alan) Rolfes, Gordon Henderson & Greg Henderson; 5 grandchildren, Anddrew (Victoria) Henderson, Katherine (Matthew) Egizoro, Amanda (Derrick) Bruorton, Rebecca Henderson & Christopher Rolfes & 3 great grandchildren, Keith Henderson, Anastasia & Logan Bruorton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Harold Henderson, Grace Smith, Florence Grubbs & Mildred Wurster. Visitation will be Wed. Oct. 10, 2007 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH and also Thurs. Oct. 11, 2007 from 10-11am at Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church in Bright, IN. Funeral Services will be Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 at 11am at the church with Rev. Scott Stephans officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church or Bright Lions Club.
