Merle David Burnett

Merle David Burnett, age 82 of Harrison, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born March 19, 1940, in Harrison, Ohio the son of Evan David and Helen Marie (Hiler) Burnett.

Merle, a 1958 William Henry Harrison High School graduate, married Alverna Sumser on August 23, 1958, in Harrison, Ohio.  Merle worked as a Machinist for OKL Can Line in Cincinnati, Ohio for many years.

Survived by his loving daughter Tama (Jon Michael) Hawk-Toller, grandfather of David Hawk and Vicky (Chris) Neuman.  Great grandfather of Noah, Corey, and Hope.

Preceded in death by his parents Evan and Helen Burnett, wife Alverna Burnett and sister Darlene Fagley.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  The burial will be at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio.
