Maynard S. Woods

Maynard S. Woods, age 77 years of Harrison, OH passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born March 19, 1934 in Wilmington, OH he was the son of the late Marion & Mildred (Sexton) Woods. He married Janice Hartmann on February 14, 1992 in Hamilton, OH. Maynard was a US Airforce Veteran serving in Korea, a member of the Sharonville Lodge #204 F&AM and the Valley of Cincinnati Scottish Rite. He retired from Avon as a packaging mechanic and he also retired as a driver from MCA, hauling mail long distance. Maynard is survived by his wife Janice Woods, son Marion "Skeeter" Woods II of Hamilton, OH and daughter & son-in-law Donna & Jeff Swetnich of New Port Richey, FL. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Christopher Gadd & Madison Swetnich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Arthur Woods & Jeanette Baker. Visitation will be Monday, June 6, 2011 from 5-7pm followed by services at 7pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Memorials are suggested to Cancer Research c/o the funeral home.
