Maureen O'Hair

Maureen (Hensley) O’Hair of Middletown, OH, passed away on July 23, 2022, in Middletown, OH. Born October 19, 1940, in Kentucky, the daughter of Pierce and Rose (Little)Hensley. Maureen had devoted her entire life to her Christian faith, singing and playing the piano in church. Her greatest loves were being a mother, grandmother, her family and her faith in God.

Maureen is preceded by her husband of 47 years, Rev. Don O’Hair, who passed away on September 21, 2020. Maude, as she was often called, is survived by her daughter LaDonna (O’Hair) and Todd Worthington, granddaughters Ireland, Grace and Reagan. She is survived by 6 children by marriage, Michael O’Hair, Yvonna Cox, Sharlana and Kevin Farley, Milana O’Hair, Daryl and Kim O’Hair & Paul O’Hair. Maureen is survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was a devoted member of her family including brothers the late Odean Hensley, Jay & Kim Hensley, Earl & Vera Hensley. Her sisters include the late Clara Singleton, the late Imogene Rose, Gertrude & Harold Barnett and Adalin & Justin Hamilton. She was close to her many cousins, nieces and nephews. Maureen was close to her niece Kathy Cox, whom she considered like a daughter.

For anyone who knew her, she also loved and adored her miniature schnauzer, Chloe.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 10 am at Fairmound Cemetery, 1145 SR-503, West Elkton, OH 45070 with Pastor Arnold Brewer officiating. Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio is directing funeral arrangements.
