Mary Elizabeth Walker

Mary Elizabeth Walker, age 93 of Bright IN passed away June 15, 2012 at Shady Nook Care Center. Born February 18, 1919 to Clark Wyatt and Lora (nee,Marshall) Hart in Falmouth, KY. Mary married George V. Walker on December 19, 1942 at Bright Methodist Church. The Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church member was a founding member of the North Dearborn EMS and belonged to the Dearborn County Homemakers. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Karen Townsend of Florence, KY, sons Roger Walker of Cincinnati, OH and Richardo (Elaine) Walker of Bright, IN; along with 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and her brother Joseph Hart of Fairfield, OH. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George, three sisters, Donna M. Renck, Ada Nowlin and Ruth Forsythe, six brothers Mike, Thomas, Boyd, Paul, Keith & Carl Hart and her son, Robert Walker. Visitation Monday, June 18, 2012 from 4-8pm with Funeral Services on Tuesday, June 19 at 10am all at Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church with Pastor Scott Stevens officiating. Memorials may be given to Dearborn Hills UMC or Bright Fire & Rescue c/o Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home.
