Mary E. Schulte, age 95, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away on April 29, 2023.
Born June 29, 1927, Mary was the daughter of Russell E. and Dorothy (Ashley) Waller.
A graduate of Harrison High School, she married Harry I. “Red” Schulte on June 11, 1949 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Mary enjoyed fishing, bird watching, watching riverboats, reading, cross-stitch, spending time with her family and with her beloved cat, Goldie.
Survivors include four daughters: Ruth (Everett) Leahigh of Wilmington, Ohio, Virginia “Ginny” Schulte of Greensburg, Indiana, Rebecca (Michael) Hall of Harrison, Ohio, and Barbara (Ron) Mason of Cedar Grove, Indiana; and a brother: Robert Waller of Madison, Indiana. Mary is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Janelle (Eric) Tucker, Annette (Derek) Bales, Mike Tipton, Greg (Tammy) Tidwell, Rusty (Whitney) Hall, Brittany (Nathan) Chaney, Mary Ann (Kenny) Glenn, Dennis (Lori) Spears, II, Kyle Readnour, Emily Mason, and Elizabeth Roush. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren: Zack and Jacob Tipton, Courtney and Chase Tidwell, Beth (Kav) McCarthy, Johnny Berkemeyer, Kaelyn, Riley and Micah Spears, Kevin and Audrey Readnour, Aubrey, Avery, and Cameron Hall, and Brinnley and Juniper Chaney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry “Red” Schulte, and her parents.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio.
