Mary Belle Holcomb

Mary Belle Holcomb, age 94 passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at her home in W. Harrison, IN. Born on February 16, 1921 in Harrison, OH she was the daughter of the late Herman & Icie (Wolfe) Studer. Mary married Albert Holcomb on January 17, 1938 in Lawrenceburg, IN and he preceded her in death in 1976. She retired from US Shoe in 1986. Mary is survived by her children Marilyn Jean (Late Robert) Huber of W. Harrison, IN, Evelyn Faye (Late Chester) McCreary of Centerville, IN, Alberta Gale (Dale) Richter of Batesville, IN and James Albert Jr. (Linda) Holcomb of Loveland, OH. She will also be missed by her 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and her sister Rose Mae Ragar of Harrison, OH. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Herman Studer. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to New Trenton Fire & EMS c/o the funeral home.
