Mary C. Simpson

Mary Catherine Simpson, age 88, Brookville, IN and formerly of Harrison, OH passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Shawnee Springs in Harrison. The daughter of John & Hedwig (Feller) Hoffman was born in Batesville, IN on May 27, 1920. She married Eugene Simpson in 1947 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Brookville, IN and was a member for many years at St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison. Mrs. Simpson is survived by her 5 sons: Robert (Patricia) of Brookville, Thomas (Robin) of New Trenton, Richard (Patricia) of W. Harrison, William (Karen) of Cincinnati and Randall Hoffman (Paula) of Bright; 17 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren along with her brothers, Edward, Johnny, Melvin & Alvin Hoffman and sisters Alice Allenstein & Wilma Meyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Marlene Roark, Viola Smith, Betty Holly, Loretta Fohl & 1 brother, Clarence Hoffman. Visitation will be Monday, April 13, 2009 from 10am-11:30am at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH, followed by Mass of Christian Burial, 12:00Noon, at St. John the Baptist in Harrison. Burial immediately following at St. John Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial masses may be given to the Church.
