Mary Babiak

Mary Babiak, age 97 of Harrison, OH passed away April 2, 2016 at Clovernook Health Care in Cincinnati, OH.  Born October 31, 1918 in Westmoreland County, PA she was the daughter of Matthew & Sophie Solomon.

The homemaker also worked at a bakery in Herminie, PA and was a member of the St. Mary’s Church in Herminie, PA.

Mary is survived by her sons John “Larry” Babiak (Cheryl) of Harrison, OH and Dale Babiak (Kathy) of Virginia.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren Brian, Glenn, Jon, Melissa, & Sean and 6 great grandchildren Alexander, Sofiya, Amanda, Zachary, Tyrone & Izaiah.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Babiak, her son Tom Babiak and her siblings Dorothy Solomon & Matthew Solomon.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 1-3pm followed by funeral service at 3:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Pastor Michael Tolle officiating.  Burial will be Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Westmoreland County Memorial Park in Greensburg, PA
