Martin Frank Hockl

Martin Frank Hockl, age 62, of Brookville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in Brookville, Indiana. Born May 14, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of George and Maria (Ruprich) Hockl.

Martin, a 1980 graduate of Oak Hills High School, worked for the City of Cincinnati for many years as an electrician. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of American Legion Post #77 Brookville and Donauschwaben in Colerain.

Martin is survived by his children Rachel Hockl, Jake Hockl, Robby Simon, III, and Rebekah (Grant) Galloway.  Mother Maria Hockl, fiancé Cathleen Hunt, and siblings Karin Herold, Kristen Hockl, and Marc (Andrea) Hockl.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Kimberly Herold, Daniel Herold, and Stephanie Herold.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 12, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 7:00 P.M., with Father Vince Lampert officiating, all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030, followed by military honors conducted by the United States Air Force and Harrison Honor Guard.

Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
