Martha Rose Ball

Martha Rose Ball, age 75 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Shawneesprings in Harrison, OH. Born Oct. 19, 1932 in Jackson Co., KY she was the daughter of the late Thomas R. & Fannie M. (Herndon) Moyers. She worked as a clerk at United Dairy Farmers. She married Henry Lee Ball on Jan. 14, 1957 in Fairborne, OH. Mrs. Ball is a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in New Trenton, IN. Mrs. Ball is survived by her children Garry (Barbara) Ball of Jackson Co., KY; Kimberly (John) Stewart of W. Harrison, IN & Ronald (Linda) Ball of W. Harrison, IN; grandchildren Ronald Lee Ball, Jacob John Henry Stewart & Benjamin Earl Ball. She will also be missed by her sister Jesse Marie Bowman of Greensburg, IN. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Henry Lee Moyers & Thomas Denman Moyers. Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 4-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Friday at 11:00am at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Shawn Crissman officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, IN. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Cincinnati or Smyrna Baptist Church.
