West Harrison, Indiana

Maralee Jackson, a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, in Blue Ash, Ohio. Born on September 28, 1953, in Springfield, Illinois, Maralee was a cherished member of her community whose life was marked by dedication to family, career, and her alma mater.

A 1971 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School, Maralee maintained a lifelong connection to her high school, proudly organizing the reunions for many years with the 1971 Harrison High School Group. This commitment reflected her deep appreciation for the bonds forged during her youth and her enduring sense of community.

Maralee's professional life was distinguished by her role as a secretary for Procter & Gamble, where she was known for her reliability, professionalism, and warm demeanor. Her colleagues and friends remember her as a person who approached every task with care and dedication. She was very involved with a group of P&G retirees that got together regularly. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to live music at festivals and events, especially music nights in Lawrenceburg, Harrison, St. John's Festival, and other church festivals.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas "Tom" Jackson, who stood by her side through all of life's seasons. Together, they shared a rich life full of love and laughter. Maralee’s daughter, Heather Jackson, and granddaughter, Lydia Harley, carry forward her legacy of strength and kindness. She is also survived by her brothers, Ronald (Cathy) King and James (Marg) King, and her sister, Marian (Dick) Billings, who, along with other close family, provided her with a supportive and loving circle.

Maralee was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elmo and Mary (nee Berola) King, whose memory she honored throughout her life.

Maralee Jackson’s life was a testament to the power of community, family, and unwavering commitment. Her spirited presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her contributions to those around her will be remembered with great respect and affection.
