Magdalene Bowling

Magdalene "Maggie" Bowling, age 86 of Bright, IN passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, OH. Born October 7, 1928 in Manchester, KY she was the daughter of Ed & Clara (Broughton) Bromley. Maggie married Hubert Bowling in August 1943 in Cincinnati, OH and together they owned and operated the Bowling Sheet Metal. She was a member of Bright Christian Church and the TOPS Club in Harrison, OH. Maggie is survived by her daughters Claire Beth Dole, Margaret (Charles) Ripperger, Patricia (Mike) Brotherton, Pamela Tucker & Melissa (Jeff) Myers. She will also be missed by 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Bowling; son Edward Bowling and her brothers Elmer & James Bromley. Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6:00 -8:00pm at Bright Christian Church. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 27, 2015 at 10:00am at Bright Christian Church, 24457 State Line Rd., Bright, IN 47025 with Rev. Hobert Bowling officiating. Burial will immediately follow services at Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Bright Christian Church c/o Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home.
