Louis A. Pfeifer passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 surrounded by his four daughters. He was born to Gertrude (Heinlein) and Louis Pfeifer on May 12, 1939, giving his mother her “best Mother’s Day present ever.”
He is survived by his four daughters and his son-in-laws, Kindra Murphy, Lori and Tom Foote, Tracy and Eric Hall, and Jennifer and Aaron Beckler, as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Joshua (Anastasia), Mandi, Melissa, Benjamin (Alana), Jasmine, Faith, Tyler, Hunter, and Liam. Louis has one surviving sibling, Dolores (Pete), but was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Louis was an avid and proficient hunter traveling to Alaska and Wyoming or hunting locally with friends, such as Ralph Meierjohn. He was a loving caregiver to his family and friends, particularly those in the North Dearborn Village community. He was a graduate of Elder High School in Cincinnati. He will be missed by all.
Louis’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home on Friday, April 15, 2016, from 10am – 1pm. Immediatly following memorial service, burial will be in St. Joseph New Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH.
