Louis "Bernie" Gorman

On Friday, November 25, 2011 Louis "Bernie" Gorman of Cincinnati, OH passed away at the age of 66 in Bright, IN. Born to Louis and Rosemary (Schaaf) Gorman on February 6, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH. Bernie married Linda Applegate on February 14, 1970 in Cincinnati. The 1963 Elder High School Graduate went onto receive his BA from Univ. of Cincinnati. He was an MP in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Bernie was the current Vice President of Mortage Lending at Union Savings Bank. Survived by his wife Linda, children Tracie (Bob) Ash and Susan (Jeff) Heeney, both of Bright, IN; along with four grandchildren, Bobby, Kelsey, Daniel, & Kyle; two sisters Marylou (Alan) VanTreese of Harrison, OH and Carol Barnhorst of Dent, OH in addition to his beloved dogs Bruno & Toby. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Marcy Humbert. Visitation Tuesday, November 29, 2011 2-4pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Mass of Christian Burial following at 4:30pm in St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Parish Bright, IN. Father Aaron Jenkins officiating. Burial in Gibson Cemetery after cremation. Memorials may be made to Dearborn County Hospice c/o the funeral home.
