Loren E. “Barney” Reed, age 84 of Bright, Indiana passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026. Born December 21, 1941, in Harrison, Ohio, the son of Charles and Gladys Reed.
Barney, a Harrison High School graduate married Georgia Lynn Fassold 1963 in Harrison, Ohio.
Survived by his sons Mike (Laura) Reed, Mark (Penny) Reed, and Joshua (Staci) Reed. Grandfather of Aaron, Heather, Cody, and Jesse Reed. Great grandfather of Connor, Cain, Chloe, Jacob, Maxton, Karter, Kaylee, Lily, and Rylee. Dear brother of Richard Reed.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio. Burial will follow at Gibson Cemetery Bright, Indiana.
