Lora Thomas

Lora Thomas, age 95 years of Okeana, OH passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at her home. She was born November 3, 1908 in Whitesburg, KY; the daughter of Jesse & Sara (Miller) Adams. She is survived by her daughters Ilene (James) Fischer and Linda Koons both of Okeana, OH. She will also be missed by her 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband McKinley Cornett and her second husband Ira Thomas; children Lillian Lucan, Harold Cornett & Willis Cornett; siblings Mallie Seals, Martha Mitchell, J.D. Adams, Harvey Ison, Grant Ison & George Adams. Mrs. Thomas retired from the Seagrams Bottling Company after 25 years. Funeral Services will be Friday, March 19, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Bro. Ronnie Wolfe officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 18, 2005 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Old Baptist Cemetery in Harrison, OH.
