Lois Leona Fischer

July 21, 1923 — July 3, 2016

Lois Leona Fischer, age 92 of Dillsboro, IN passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the Waters of Dillsboro, Ross Manor. On July 21, 1923 she was born to James and Alta Elsie (Johntson) Courter in Morris Hill, IN. Lois married James M. Fischer on November 23, 1940 in Milan Indiana.

Lois is survived by her son Steven W. Fischer, daughter Bonnie (Ronald) Woodward; her grandchildren Teresa, Rodney, Julie, Leetha, Robert, Steven and Tina plus many great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son James A. Fischer, daughter Brenda Ann Fischer, and all her siblings Elsie Fry, Marjorie Kuhlmeier, Albert Courter, Jimmy Courter and Bud Courter.

Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am on Saturday, July 9, 2016 with 11:00am Funeral Services immediately following, all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Burial in Glen Haven Cemetery will follow.

Memorials may be given to the Cincinnati Shriners Burn Center c/o the funeral home.
