Lester Peters

Lester Peters, age 82 of Lawrenceburg, IN passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Cincinnati, OH. Born August 29, 1929 in Booneville, KY he was the son of John & Nanny (Marshall) Peters. He married Edna Mae Bowling in New Port, KY on December 24, 1957 and retired from the Cincinnati Meade Corp. as a machinist. Lester is survived by his wife Edna Mae Peters, children Sylvia Huddleston, Donald Eugene Miller, Velma Pursell, Geneva Ruth Loos, Lester Allen Peters & Daniel Wayne Peters. He will also be missed by his 22 grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild & sister Ellen Short. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters Sharon Lavonne Hay & Marsha Gayle Peters and siblings Belle Mayes, Rosie Mayes, Edith Saylor, Hazel Mays, Virginia Turner, Charles Peters, Sammy Peters & Shelby Peters. Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 10am until time of service at 1pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o the funeral home which can be brought to the visitation/service or mailed to the funeral home.
