LaVerne M. Kolb

LaVerne Mildred Kolb, age 95 of West Harrison, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, peacefully at home. Born May 10, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur J. and Loretta B (Becker) Boller.

LaVerne married Paul E. Kolb on November 28, 1953,and they were the first couple married at St. Ann Parish in Groesbeck, Ohio. She volunteered for the Dearborn County 4H as a club leader, East Central High School Band Booster and was a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau & Dearborn County Women’s Leader. She loved being around her family on the farm and loved to watch the Hummingbirds and Cardinals.

Survived by her children James Kolb, Glenn (Cathy) Kolb, and Paula (Billy) Bryant. Grandmother of Zachary (Addison) Kolb, Bradley Kolb, and Danielle Bryant. Great grandmother of Cassidy Kolb.

Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Loretta Boller, husband Paul E. Kolb and siblings Robert Boller, Joyce Fite, and Marian Mirlenbrink.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. all at Jackman Hensley Funeral home, 215 East Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery Harrison, Ohio.
