Laurie E. Rheaume

Laurie E. Rheaume, born on January 14, 1961, in Santa Rosa, California, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Laurie dedicated her career as an OR & Trauma nurse at Cincinnati Children's Hospital for many years, providing compassionate care and expertise to countless children and families during critical times. Her infectiously positive personality would light up a room with a smile that shined brightly through her surgical mask. Her unwavering commitment to her profession exemplified her dedication to helping others and made a lasting impact on those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Laurie is survived by her loving husband, Roland Rheaume. Together they raised a wonderful family, including their daughter, Rachael (Philip) Grundner and son, Steven (Emily) Rheaume. She cherished her role as a grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Luca, Jacob, William, Margaret, and a new grandchild expected to arrive soon.

Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Geraldine (Hakam) McLaughlin, whose guidance and love undoubtedly shaped the remarkable woman she became.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home located at 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030. A Mass of Christian Burial in her honor will take place the following day, Thursday, December 4, 2025, (family requests that the Mass be attended by adults only) at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church situated at 7130 Harrison Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247, starting at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio. A gathering of friends and family, including children, will be held shortly after the burial from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pebble Creek Golf Course clubhouse located at 9799 Prechtel Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45252.

Laurie's spirit will continue to live on through the memories shared by her family and friends reflecting a life dedicated to love, service, and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
