Laura A. Gibson

Laura A. Gibson, age 74 of Sunman, IN passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, IN. She was born on January 22, 1940 in Booneville, KY and was the daughter of Gilbert & Florence (Reynolds) Bowles. Laura worked at Campbell Hausfeld in Harrison, OH & New Horizons in Batesville, IN.

Laura is survived by her children Michelle Dobkins of Rising Sun, IN; Brian Dobkins of Sunman, IN & Belinda (Jerry) Borne of Harrison, OH. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Nick (Jaiden) Batter, Laura Renee (Rusty) Guy, Jackie Peterson & Judi Borne; great grandchildren Cynthia Renee Guy, Alex Guy & Eden Elice Guy and siblings Mary (Everett) Miller of W. Harrison, IN & Raymond (Jenette) Bowles of Blanchester, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul "Bud" Gibson, her son Charles "Chuck" Dobkins and siblings Ora Bowles, Helen Barrett, Baby Bowles, Reva Bowles, Floyd Bowles, Richard Bowles, Lena Mae Bowles, Rachel Lynch & Net Edith Hall.

Visitation will be Monday, April 28, 2014 from 5pm until time of services at 7pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Pastor David Miller officiating. Burial will be in Bowles Cemetery in Booneville, KY on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o the funeral home.
