Larry Allen Greene

Larry Allen Greene, a dedicated engineer and estimator, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in Sharonville, Ohio. Born on June 27, 1938, in Akron, Ohio, Larry spent a remarkable 43 years of his professional life contributing to Babcock & Wilcox, where he earned respect for his expertise and commitment to excellence.

Larry's journey through life began in Akron, where he was raised by his loving parents, George Franklin and Dorothy Elizabeth (nee Croft) Greene. 

On July 26, 1958, Larry married his beloved wife, Mary Dubovec, in Barberton, Ohio. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion, nurturing a family that would become the centerpiece of their world. Larry is survived by his wife, Mary Greene, their children, Laurie Greene and Michael (Nanette) Greene, his five cherished grandchildren, Michele, Madison, Andrew, Katie, and Kelsey.

In addition to his professional achievements, Larry was actively involved in his community. He took great pride in being a Boy Scout leader for Troop #381, where he imparted his knowledge and values to the next generation.

Larry will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his impactful career, and his commitment to young minds within the scouting community. His legacy of love and service will continue to resonate through the lives he touched.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
