Kenneth R. Wessel

Kenneth R. Wessel, age 93, of Guilford, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, in Batesville, Indiana.  Born on March 25, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of John and Alma Wessel.

Kenneth married Dixie Ann McKee on June 19, 1954, in New Baltimore, Ohio.  A lifelong farmer, Kenneth also worked for Cincinnati Incorporated for 33 years as a machinist and served his country in the United States Army.

Survived by his sons Steve, Rick, and Mike (Anita) Wessel.  Grandfather of Rachel (John Burket) Wildey.

Preceded in death by his parents John and Alma Wessel, granddaughter Rebecca Wessel and siblings Dorothy Cottingham, Red, and John Wessel.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024. at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating, all at Gibson Cemetery in Bright, Indiana.
