Kenneth Eugene Steele

Kenneth Eugene Steele, age 19 of Harrison, OH passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at his home in Harrison. Born August 12, 1992 in Cincinnati, OH he is the son of Gary & Doretta (Offill) Steele. Ken is a hero, he has made all of us so proud. When he left for heaven it's like we've all lost a part of our hearts. Ken is an amazing son & father to Mason. He loved Mason more than anything in this world. He was looking forward to all the things he would teach him, like quading. His love for Jamie was so passionate & devoted, he truly loved her as much as anyone could love. Ken was very loved and will be well missed. He was a grandson and a brother that will never be forgotten. He was like a brother to so many people. None of us could ever put into words how much he will be missed. Even though we will never be the same, his death has saved our family. His sisters could have never asked for a better brother. He was a sweet and loving boy, but now he is in the best hands he could ever be in. Now we all just wish for Ken to keep it safe for us, until we join him in heaven. Kenneth is survived by his parents Gary & Doretta Steele of Harrison, OH; girlfriend Jamie Wessler of Harrison, OH; son Mason Bailey Steele of Harrison, OH; maternal grandparents Melvin & Brenda Offill of South Carolina; paternal grandparents Robert & Theresa Steele of Harrison, OH; paternal great grandmother Mildred Wolf of Harrison, OH; sisters Kanelia (Ladre) Henderson of Cincinnati, OH & Amanda Steele of Harrison, OH; nephew Joel Steele and best friends Jake Volmer & Kevin Eglain. Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 9:30am 12 noon followed by services at 12 noon all at New Haven Road Family Worship Center with Pastor Dave Garrett officiating. A memorial fund is being set up for his son. Checks may be made payable to Jamie Wessler and brought to the visitation/service or mailed to Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home.
