Kathy M. Volpenhein

Kathy M. Volpenhein age 63 passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Born October 10, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Emil Volponi and the late Helen (Phipps) Volponi.

Kathy a 1972 graduate of Western Hills High School worked as the office manager for many years for Hendy Inc.  Kathy married Andrew Volpenhein May 5, 1978 at St Ignatius Loyola Parish in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Andrew Volpenhein of West Harrison, Indiana. Her father Emil Volponi of Cheviot, Ohio. Beloved mother of Nicholas (Ashley) Volpenhein of Liberty Township, Ohio, Evan Michael Volponi Volpenhein and Samantha Volpenhein both of Cincinnati, Ohio. Dear Sister of Margaret Burkhart of Tampa, Florida and Carol (Jim) Koetters of Cincinnati, Ohio. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and god children.

Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017 10:30 A.M. at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish 5222 North Bend Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45247 with Father David Reilly officiating.  Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 11000 Montgomery Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
