Karen Sue Clark (nee Radenheimer), beloved Mom and Grandma, a devoted Registered Nurse and cherished member of her community, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on March 7, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Carl Radenheimer and Roberta Renck, Karen's life exemplified service, dedication, and deep commitment to her family.
A 1967 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School, Karen went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Nursing, embarking on a career that reflected her compassion and dedication to caring for others. For more than 30 years, she served with distinction as a Registered Nurse in the Recovery Room at Jewish Hospital, where her expertise and kindness left a lasting impact on patients and colleagues alike.
Karen enjoyed bird watching and being in nature whenever she could. You could often find her sitting in her yard, enjoying the sun and listening to the birds singing. She loved to travel and treasured the family trips to the far corners of the world but of all the places she visited, she was always happiest at the family cabin in Michigan.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer White (nee Clark); her three grandchildren, Leah, Paige, and Kenny. Karen's mother, Roberta Renck (nee Quinlan), also survives her, along with her brother, Paul (Sarah) Radenheimer; her sister Carla (Paul) Wolff; and her sister-in-law, Bev Radenheimer. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many cousins, who she loved dearly. Their enduring support and love were a vital part of Karen’s life.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Carl Radenheimer, and her brother, Rodney Radenheimer, who remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m., at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home located at 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and the community to pay their respects and honor the memory of Karen Sue Clark. A burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, Ohio.
Karen’s life was characterized by unwavering dedication to the health and wellbeing of others, and a profound love for her family. Her legacy will live on through those whose lives she touched with her kindness, skill, and compassion. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
