Justin Hamilton

On October 15th, 2025, Justin went home to be with the Lord at 5:20pm. He is now walking pain free with Jesus. Justin was born in Hazard Kentucky March 30th, 1947, to Robert and Sallie (Caudill) Hamilton. Justin traveled north in 1965 for employment at ARMCO Steel in Middletown, Ohio, where he remained for 41 years. He was drafted in 1966 by the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served his time in Panama at Fort Clayton base until 1968. While in Panama Justin became friends with Tom Chamberlain, and their families remain friends to this day. When he returned home and was living with his sister Ona, he loved visiting the GC Murphy Co. He developed quite a sweet tooth and visited the candy department daily where Adalin Hensley worked. She happily gave him his favorite pecan cluster pieces, and he gave her a ring. Justin and Adalin were married June 27th, 1969 in Middletown, Ohio. They settled in their first and only home in Blueball where all the neighbors called him Mr. Wonderful. Justin is survived by his wife Adalin of 56 years. Justin is also survived by his brother Lonnie who worked beside him for most of his Armco career in the Briar Patch in East Processing. He is also survived by his sons Anthony and his partner Bobby and Tim and his wife Heather. He enjoyed sharing his love for the outdoors hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers with his five grandchildren, Cory, his wife Preshus, Shelbi, Tanner, his wife Imani, Brandon, Hanna and one great granddaughter Parker. Justin was extremely active in his retirement years working with wood and rock building beautiful benches and tables along with a beautiful back yard sitting area they enjoyed for many, many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Sallie, 7 brothers Rollie, Matt, Robert, Dan, Earl, Russell and Leon and 2 sisters Ona and Alphia.

Graveside service will be at Fairmound Cemetery, 11611 State Route 503, West Elkton, Ohio 45070 at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 20th, 2025, Officiated by Pastor Sherril Sizemore, followed by Military honors provided by the United States Army.
