Juanita Souders

Juanita Souders, age 91 of Harrison, OH passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Shawneespring Health Care in Harrison.  Born September 29, 1925 in Crab Orchard, KY she was the daughter of Ruffus & Beatrice (Blankenship) Crank.

Juanita worked for Whitewater Processing and US Shoe.  She loved sewing, was an artist and quilter and was everyone’s mammaw.  On July 19, 1945, she married Daniel Souders and he preceded her in death.

Juanita is survived by her children Suzie Unwin (Steven) of Okeana, OH; James Souders of W. Harrison, IN; Tim Souders of Big Cedar, IN & Kimbo Souders (Pat) of Greendale, IN.   She will also be missed by her many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren along with her brothers Joe Crank of Connersville, IN and Ralph Smith of Harrison, OH.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her children Sharon Settle, Tom Souders, Carol Souders, Lee Souders & Ruth Souders and siblings James Crank, Harold Smith, Charlie Smith & Virginia Crank.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 11:00am until time of services at 1:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow services in Glen Haven Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
