Joseph "Gene" Warburg

Joseph “Gene” Warburg, age 88 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at Shawneespring of Harrison.  Born June 16, 1931 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of Joseph and Helen (Kroner) Warburg.

Gene a graduate of Harrison High School was the owner of Gene’s Cycle Shop in Harrison for many years. Member of St John the Baptist Catholic Church and served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army.

Gene is survived by his nephew John Debruler, great nieces Heather (Aaron) Stephenson, Tia (Kyle Wells) Debruler and great nephews Damon (Erin) Stapleton, David (Sarah) Wolf and Kyle Debruler.  Also survived by many great great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Helen Warburg, sister Ann Debruler and nephew James Debruler.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 21, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, October 22, 2019 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 508 Park Ave. Harrison, Ohio 45030 with Father Edward Shine officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery Harrison, Ohio with military honors.
