Joseph Unterreiner

Joseph Unterreiner, age 89 of Bright, In passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at Hillebrand Nursing Home in Cincinnati, OH. Born March 5, 1927 in Klein-Jetscha, Romania he was the son of the late Kasper & Anna (Berg) Unterreiner. On January 3, 1952, he married Anna Theiss at St. Joseph Church in Cincinnati, OH and she preceded him in death on February 12, 2014. He worked at Kroger for several years as a candy maker.

Joseph is survived by his sons Walter Unterreiner (Judy) of Bright, IN, Joseph Unterreiner of Milford, OH and Edward Unterreiner (Linda) of Rabbit Hash, KY. He will also be missed by his grandchildren John, Ericha (David), Katie (Tim), Eddie (Katie), Elizabeth (Jason), Kurt, Mary & Sam along with 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, and wife Anna Unterreiner, he was preceded in death by his sister Anna Unterreiner.

Visitation will be Friday, January 13, 2017, 11am – 1pm followed by Liturgy of the word at 1:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Father Edward Shine officiating. Burial will follow services at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Old. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society c/o Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 513, Harrison, OH 45030.
