Joseph R Jackson



Joseph R. Jackson, age 82 of Bright, IN passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, IN.  Born November 28, 1933 in Bright, he was the son of Joseph A. & Bernice (Hurley) Jackson.

The graduate of Bright High School & home builder served his country proudly in the Army during Korea.  He married Eleanor Reatherford on November 27, 1962 in Bright.  Joseph attended the Bright Christian Church and was a member of the Carpenters Union.

Joseph is survived by his children Sherry Boyd (Larry) of Brookville, IN, Gail Ford (Perry) of Sunman, IN, Mary Ann Baines (Matthew) of Hidden Valley, IN, Joe Jackson (Deborah) of Greendale, IN.  He will also be missed by his grandchildren Andrea Gladon, Stacey Amrhein (Steve), Chad Ford, Haley Neff, Alec Neff, Joseph K. Jackson & Jalen Jackson; his great grandson Tucker Gladon and his sister Norma Lee Walley of Temple City, CA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Jackson, his daughter Christy Rodriguez and his sister Mary Catherine Siefferman.
