Joseph D. Cook

Joseph D. "Joe" Cook, age 77 years of Harrison, OH passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at his home. Born July 28, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late William & Una (Franklin) Cook. He worked for Southwest Local Schools for 24 years. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of the Harrison VFW. He married Roselene "Rose" Black in 1954. Mr. Cook is survived by his wife Rose Cook, daughter Theresa Herth, grandson Justin (Ashley) Hearth, great granddaughter Madeline Riley Herth and siblings Lucille Brewer of Florida & James Cook of Harrison, OH. Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, 2008 from 9am until time of service at 11:00am all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Minister Tom Benter officiating. Burial will be in Miamitown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o the funeral home.
