John Michael Wewe

John Michael Wewe, age 69, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Harrison, Ohio.

He was born on May 25, 1954 to Herbert and Twylo (Largent) Wewe in Connersville, Indiana.  He was a 1972 graduate of Brookville High School. He was married to Christine Runtz on August 31, 1979 at Holy Guardian Angels Parish in Cedar Grove, Indiana.

John is survived by his loving wife, Christine (Runtz) Wewe, his children Jason Wewe, Justin Wewe, Joseph Wewe, and Jayne Wewe, his brother Paul Wewe, Steve (Cheryl) Wewe, and Marty (Stacy) Wewe.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law Rosalie Bonno-Runtz and father-in-law, Robert L. Runtz.

Preceded in death by parents Herbert and Twylo Wewe, his brother Robert Wewe, and sister-in-law Joyce (Slagle) Wewe.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until the blessing service at 6:00 p.m. all held at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in John’s memory to any of the following either by mail or via the funeral home: Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O.
