John Clifford Owens

John Clifford Owens, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away at age 82, in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, April 15, 2023.

Born on May 24, 1940 the son of David Luther and Thelma (Shoebrook) Owens in Toronto, Ohio, John graduated from Steubenville High School in 1958 and then proudly served the United States Army during the Vietnam era.  He was married for 20 years to Dorothy Adkins.  He was employed as a supervisor with Toyota in Georgetown, Kentucky for 16 years.

John is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (Adkinson) Owens, three children John Owens, II, Elizabeth (Christopher) Lancaster, and Lori Price, six grandchildren Jacob Owens, Lauren Lancaster, Jesse Lancaster, Tara Koch, Susan Cole, and Jack Cole, five great-grandchildren Zander Lancaster, Xzavier Lancaster, Owen Koch, Koda Koch, and one on the way named Jonathan Owens.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Mike Price, brother David Luther Owens, Jr., and sisters Marcella Hall and Dorothy Robertson.

A graveside service with military honors by the United States Army will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, 6980 Danville Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356.
