John William Aufderhaar, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John William Aufderhaar, Jr., age 51, of Harrison, Ohio, on February 15, 2025.

John was born September 3, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to parents John, Sr. and Monica (Enderle) Aufderhaar. John, the loving and proud father of Carlee Ann Aufderhaar, is also survived by his Fiancé, Michelle Knapp, his parents, twin brother Thomas Aufderhaar, and sister Amy (Jason) Loechel.

He will be missed by his nieces, Ashley Powell, Hannah Aufderhaar, and Brooke Aufderhaar, and nephew, Devlun Loechel, who all held a special place in his heart. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Florence Aufderhaar and Thomas and Shirley Enderle.

In his lifetime John found joy in most outdoor activities, including fishing, four wheeling, hunting, and golfing. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed building things. He also loved music, drawing, and spending time with friends and family. He had a great sense of humor and could make a friend anywhere. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family has planned a Celebration of Life and will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed by the sharing of memories at 7:30 p.m. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.  All who knew John are invited to join in celebrating his life and the MANY wonderful memories he created with us.
