Joe Franklin

Joe Franklin, age 43 of Harrison, OH passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Mercy West Hospital. He was born on September 15, 1970 in St. Mary's, IN and is the son of William A. & Nancy (Campbell) Franklin. He married Patti Homer on July 28, 2005 in Covington, KY and worked for the South Dearborn Regional Sewer District. Joe is survived by his wife Patti Franklin; his mother Nancy Franklin of Bright, IN; children Joseph Franklin of Bright, IN Gary Michael Malone of New York City, NY. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Morgan, Bradley & Maci Blanchet; siblings Jeri Beth (Tim) Wyatt of Bright, IN & Michael Franklin of Bright, IN; father-in-law & mother-in-law Gary & Kay Homer of Harrison, OH and dear friends Doc Lane of Lawrenceburg, IN and Kevin (Tina) Denton of Guilford, IN. In addition to his father William A. Franklin, he was preceded in death by his buddy Sparky. Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2014 from 6:30pm until time of Memorial Service at 7:30pm with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to the Heart Institute at Mercy West Hospital c/o the funeral home.
