Jody M Walker

Jody M. Walker, age 46 passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at his home in Saylor Park, OH.  Born February 10, 1971 in Connersville, IN.  He is the son of Terry (nee: Baker) Burckey (James) of Brookville, IN.

The 1989 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School owned Walker Construction for many years and then later, worked for Forge Lumber in Cincinnati as a carpenter.  Jody was a member of Bright Christian Church & was on the church softball team.  He coached Michael & Scott’s baseball teams, was a chaperone for the kids 8th grade DC trips and went on mission trips to Mexico and Barbados with Michael.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by children Michael Brandt of W. Harrison, IN; Scott Austin Brandt Walker of W. Harrison, IN; Evan Brandt Walker of W. Harrison, IN and Scarlett Grace Walker of W. Harrison, IN; Libby Willetts of Harrison, OH; his sisters Jessica Russell of Harrison, OH and Stephanie Barrett (Donnie) of Brookville, IN and the mother of his children, Joy Walker.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10am until time of services at 12:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Shawn Crisman officiating.  Memorials are suggested to his children c/o the funeral home.
