Joann Martin

JoAnn Martin (nee Knapp), age 72 years of Harrison, OH passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in Cincinnati, OH. Born June 9, 1936 in Addyston, OH she was the daughter of the late Harold & Carrie (Martin) Knapp. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1954. She married Stanley Joe Martin on August 11, 1967 and was a member of the Bright Christian Church. She retired from the Chevron Refinery in Hooven, OH and then worked for the Harrison Sand & Gravel until her passing. Mrs. Martin is survived by her son Steven R. (Lisa) Pennington of Morrow, OH & daughter Leigh Ann (Mike) Wilson of Hooven, OH; stepdaughter Valerie (Chuck) Land of Georgetown, KY; grandchildren Jason, David, Ted, Jordan & Nathan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1991, Stanley Joe Martin. Visitation will be Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 10am until time of service at 12pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Pastor Tom Benner officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or American Heart Assoc.
