Joann Canada

Joann Canada, age 83, of Delhi, Ohio, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Born the daughter of Melvin “Duke” and Jeanette (Quinn) Joyce on January 23, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Joann became a graduate of Seton High School and over the years was employed as a front desk receptionist for several hotels in the Cincinnati area.  Joann really enjoyed coming to the Harrison Community Center weekly where she made many friends whom she would play cards and bingo with.

Joann is survived by her son, Tom (Deana Reinert) Canada, their children, Adam Reinert, Austin Reinert, Alexandra “Alex” (Adam) Baumann, Aiden Reinert. She is also survived by her daughter, Amy Mattingly, and her children Zoe and Abby, granddaughter, Tori Canada, and a few nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Duke and Jeanette Joyce, her late sister Jackie Watson, and several nephews and nieces.

A celebration of Joann’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.
