Jimmy H. Curliss

Jimmy H. Curliss, age 79 years of Cincinnati, OH passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born December 21, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Douglass & Verna (Huff) Curliss. The Army Veteran of the Korean War married Chevi Cox on February 1, 1978 in Cincinnati, OH. He retired from the Cincinnati Public School as Head of Maintenance. Mr. Curliss is survived by his wife of 44 years Chevi Curliss, daughters and their husbands Renee & Bill Davis of Louisville, KY, Tammy (Johnny) Gilbert of Colerain, OH, Marianne Braden of Cheviot, OH and Kimberly & Mark Browning of Lexington, KY and his son and his wife Mike & Angela Braden of Covington, KY. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Michael Lipps, Alisha Braden, Josh Braden, Tyler Browning, Ryan Browning, McKenzie Browning, Jessica Braden, Jared Braden, Stephanie Braden, Talia Hiers & Misey Billard; great grandchildren Damian Braden, Mason Braden, Breneeana Hiers, Clarissa Patgett, Skyler Hiers & Lace Hiers; brother Gary (Stephanie) Curliss of Cincinnati, OH and sister-in-law Faye Curliss of Cincinnati, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchildren Kira Gilbert, Shawn Foster and his brother Bob Curliss. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 11am until time of services at 1pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Pastor Pete Witt officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Assoc. c/o the funeral home.
