Jesse Sosby

Jesse L. Sosby, age 70 of Harrison, OH passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 in Cincinnati, OH. Born on February 23, 1944 in Detroit, MI. He is a 1964 graduate from Lawrenceburg High School and married CJ Hamil on June 11, 1965 in Bright, IN. He served his country in the US Army and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 199 & VFW Post 7570 and a member of the Am Vets Post 13. He worked for Fernald as a supervisor. Jesse is survived by his wife CJ Sosby, his son Steve Sosby of Cincinnati, OH; his daughter Bobbi (Carl) Hopfensperger of Lebanon, OH and daughter-in-law Nupicha Sosby of Harrison, OH. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Mason Hopfensperger and Juliya Hopfensperger. Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2014 from 4-7 pm followed by services at 7:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 11:00am at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Assoc. c/o the funeral home.
