Jerome "Jerry" Gibson

Jerome “Jerry” Gibson, age 71, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born the son of Delmar and Jean (Morgenroth) Gibson on April 11, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jerry was a woodworker and would make beautiful furniture.  He was also a guitarist and played at many venues in the area.  He was never seen without wearing tie-dye, and because of this, he would oftentimes be called by the name “Jerry Garcia.”

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Denice Braden, two grandchildren, Melissa and Jay, and two great-grandchildren, Lexie and Santino.  He is also survived by his siblings, John Gibson, Paul (Kevin) Gibson, Jeff Gibson, Jeannie (Bob) Russell, Joan Marlatt, Julie Gibson, Jenny (Bob Walton) Gibson, and Joyce (Chuck) Shoemaker.

He was preceded in death by his parents Delmar and Jean Gibson, his siblings, Jim Gibson, Joe Gibson, and Ginger Gibson.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 7:30 p.m. all held at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.
