Jenna Marie Clark

After a gallant fight against cancer, Jenna Marie Clark went home to be with her Lord on October 10, 2014. The daughter of James R. Clark IV and Jennifer L. (Darling) Clark was born on February 4, 1990 in Cincinnati, OH along with her identical twin sister Jessie. Jenna had a true love for the Lord. She believed that Christians and the Church are one body and as such she was a member of all churches. The recent graduate loved to minister to children. From her preteen years on, Jenna sought out kids in need with whom she could share her gifts. She was always actively involved with the children's ministry in her church. Jenna went on numerous mission trips to work with the little ones, including visits to Guatemala, Mexico and the Appalachian Mountains. The 24 year old resident of Bright, IN graduated from East Central High School in 2008 with a 4.21 GPA as a Valedictorian. Four years later Jenna graduated Sigma Cum Laude with Honors and Distinction from the University of Evansville in 2012. She earned a B.A. Ministry Degree with a 3.91 GPA. Jenna enjoyed playing the piano and her guitar, plus she liked to write music and sing for her friends and family. She was an avid reader, but her favorite thing to do was just spend time with her family. What a beautiful difference one life can make. Through her struggles Jenna has been a true inspiration to all and will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Jenna is survived by her parents; brother James "Jimmy" R. Clark V and his fiancé Kristy Coon; twin sister and brother-in-law Jessie & Isaiah Steffen of Indianapolis, IN; aunts and uncles Jackie & Chris Mulligan of Loveland, OH, Teresa & Jeff Darling of East Enterprise, IN and Sharon & Larry Nehring of Rochester, MN; along with her grandparents James Clark (Gerri) and Rose Ann Frank (Richard); great grandmas Ruth (the late Leonard) Darling and Betty (the late James) Clark; plus many cousins and her puppy companion, Cheerio. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jerry & Connie (Lattire) Darling. Visitation will be from 10:00am - 2:00pm, Monday, October 13, 2014 with Funeral Services beginning at 2:30pm all at Bright Christian Church, 24457 Stateline Rd., Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. Minister Tom Benter officiating with burial to follow in the Gibson Cemetery, Bright, IN. In lieu of flowers Jenna herself had requested that memorials may be given to The Dragonfly Foundation of Cincinnati c/o Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 513, Harrison, OH.
