Jeffrey M. Schaefer

Jeffrey M. Schaefer, age 57 of W. Harrison, IN passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at his home. Born June 7, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH. He was the son of the late Paul J. & Dorothy (Huber) Schaefer. Jeff was a 1971 graduate of Taylor High School, US Marine Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 199 and VFW Duwell Post 7570. He married Jacqueline Bays on December 29, 1976 in St. Louis, MO. Jeff enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family. They will all truly miss him. Jeffrey is survived by his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Schaefer, children Jeffrey Mark Schaefer Jr., Jody Lynn Schaefer Little and Jackie Lee Akins Sage. He will also be missed by his grandchildren John Kai Little & Jeffrey Mark Schaefer III, siblings Diane (Frank) Hedger, Tom (Jayleen) Schaefer, Matt (Heather) Schaefer, Sherry Schaefer & Maria Schaefer and his biological mother Pat Arbino. He was also preceded in death by his brother Paul Schaefer. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2011 from 11am until time of service at 1pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Frank Hedger. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cleves, OH with military graveside rites. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o the funeral home.
