Jason E. Haas

Jason E. Haas, a beloved son, brother, and devoted father, passed away on September 8, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky, at the age of 51. Born on January 27, 1974, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jason grew to be a hardworking and dedicated individual who made significant contributions during his lifetime.

Jason pursued a successful career as a Journeyman Welder, working with esteemed companies such as Tradeline Fabricators, DeBra-Kuempel, and General Electric for many years. His skills and dedication to his craft were matched only by his commitment to his family and community.

A proud graduate of East Central High School in 1993, Jason carried with him a spirit of adventure that drew him to various hobbies and interests. He loved hunting, fishing, and quad riding. Jason found joy in the country music of the 70s, often singing along to the tunes of Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams Jr. Known for his happy and carefree demeanor, he had an infectious zest for life that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Jason is survived by his cherished son, Alec Haas, who will carry on his legacy. He is also remembered fondly by his siblings: sister Shelly (Tony) Ramey and brothers Matthew (Danniel) Haas and Andrew (Hallie) Haas. Jason’s parents, Stephen and Bonnie (nee Carr) Haas, preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life honoring Jason E. Haas will be held at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home in Harrison, Ohio. The service will take place on September 20, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their memories of a remarkable man who brought joy and love to those around him.
