James W. “Jim” Willoughby Sr. age 79 of Harrison, Ohio passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Born July 3, 1941 in Lexington, Kentucky the son of Henry and Ruby (Estepp) Willoughby.
Jim married Shirley (Rothweiler) Brown November 27, 1974 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Jim is survived by his wife Shirley Willoughby. Father of William (Debbie) Willoughby of Liberty,Ky. Sherrie (Donnie) Salyers of Yosemite, Ky, Timothy Willoughby of Yosemite Ky, Deana (Dave) Barrett Middleburg, Ky, Donnajo Greer (Christopher Berns) Willoughby of West Harrison, Ind and James (Amy) Willoughby Jr of Pike Co, Ky. Grandfather of 15, Great Grandfather of 26 and Great Great Grandfather of one. Brother of Shirley (Lloyd) Napier of Crestwood, Ky.Brother in law to Josie (loren) Felts of Edgewater, Fla, Linda (Ronald) Rothweiler of West Harrison, Ind, Donna (Marvin) Browning of Cincinnati, Oh, Tom Barber of San Antonio, Tx, Dorothy (Brown) Mackenzie of Des, Allemands, La, George (Joan) Brown of Cincinnati, Oh. Also survived by daughter in law Elizabeth (Willoughby) Todd Yosemite, Ky, sister in law Pamela Brumley of Wilder, Ky, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ruby (Winstead) Willoughby, son James Edward Willoughby, brother Raymond Brumley, Sister in law Norma Barber and grandson Dwayne Salyers.
Hobbies Jim enjoyed were Fishing, Bowling, Chair Volleyball and Soft Ball.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Steven Bates officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery 10205 Montgomery Road Montgomery, Ohio 45242.
