James Thomas Brent

James Thomas Brent, age 76 of W. Harrison, IN passed away Saturday, March 6, 2004 in W. Harrison, IN. He was born June 19, 1927 in Crab Orchard, KY; the son of Marshall & Matilda (Noe) Brent. He married Eldean Sowers on January 20, 1945 in Newport, KY. He is survived by his children Janice (Thomas) Walker of Florence, IN; Patricia (Michael) Farro of Cincinnati, OH; Lillian Moore of Cincinnati, OH; James "Tommy" (Luella) Brent of Harrison, OH and Sheila (Matthew) Harry of W. Harrison, IN; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sister Alice C. (Michael) Watts of Albany, KY and brother Marshall "Buddy" Brent of Somerset, KY. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Billy Perkins Brent & Arvin Brent. Mr. Brent was a self-employed TV technician, WWII Army Veteran and member of the Milan, IN VFW. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, 2004 from 12 noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 PM all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. James Hundley officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery, Bright, IN. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Bright Fire & EMS.
