James D. Sherrill

James “Jamie” Sherrill, age 65 of St. Petersburg, Florida formally of Bright, Indiana passed away November 28, 2021 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born May 11, 1956 in Bright, Indiana the son of James and Alma (Luster) Sherrill. Jamie graduated from North Dearborn High School and served his country in the United States Air Force. Jamie is survived by his daughter Heather (Keith) Roach. Brother of Shawn (John) Taylor, Bobbi Su (Hubie) Kent, Dena (Dudder) Baker, Frank (Lavern) Rogers and Jerry (Ruthie) Hamilton. Grandfather of eight and great grandfather of three. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents James and Alma Sherrill and daughter Jaymelyn “Cody” Dunaway. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 20, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Gibson Cemetery Bright, Indiana with military honors.
