James Settle

James"Jimmy"Settle, age 67 of W. Harrison, IN passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born on November 23, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN and was the son of Art & Mary (Boyd) Settle. He married Sharon Souders on August 19, 1966 in Greendale, IN. He was a mechanic for 20+ years at Noels Garage and also worked for F&M MAFCO.

James is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon Settle and children Patti (Randy) Hanes, Danny (Kim) Settle, Terry (Gina) Settle, Tammy (Matt) Sullivan and Tommy (Angie) Settle. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law Juanita Souders, his siblings Georgia (Clayton) Taylor, Donna Smith, Bill Settle and Mike Settle, grandchildren Tasha, Tina, Christina, Ashley, Emily, Ricky, Danielle, Rachel, Derek, Kyle S. (late Courtney), Kyle J. Tommy, Cody, Kaylyn & Kory as well as 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Art & Marie Settle, he was preceded in death by his son Jamie (Christie) Settle, sisters Betty, Rita & Phylis and brothers Ricky, Bobby & Aurthur.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 5-8pm followed by services at 8:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Memorials are suggested to Dearborn County Hospice c/o the funeral home.
